OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE
“HAVE POLLUTION FREE OCEANS FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS”
IF WE ALL WORK TOGETHER, WE CAN ACHIEVE THIS!
How did it start?
It all started from a passion for the oceans and the hard realisation that human over consumption and waste mismanagement was killing nature’s best jewel, which also happen to regulate our world’s operation to an extent we are only starting to understand.
This is how, Andrew Turton and Pete Ceglinski, two avid surfers, decided to quit their jobs to create a “Seabin” that would collect trash, oil, fuel and detergents.
The Seabin Project is far more than a product, our ultimate goal is to
“have pollution free oceans for our future generations”.
To get there we are working to make the Seabin better and better and available to the maximum number of places. Also, educating and raising awareness to be able to one day live in a world where pollution devices are not needed.
Along with the development of the project, he's involved in the technical design and development of the products.Read More

The issue of marine litter is one that will have to be dealt with for generations to come and therefore, we need to provide the knowledge, tools and capacities to the decision-makers of the future, our children.
Education is the first step to lasting and effective solutions. With marine litter, children can play a direct and significant role in reducing the sheer amount entering the oceans.
Every child who learns to dispose of trash properly can be one less “source” person littering and they have the potential to spread the word to friends and family virally amplifying the effect.
THE REAL SOLUTION:
From the beginning, the team at Seabin Project understood that the Seabins are not the solution, but education is the real solution in the end. By understanding this, Seabin Project have developed an open source education program based on interaction with and without the Seabin technology.
GLOBAL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Is an instructional booklet with a series of lessons suitable for schools to learn more about the oceanic littering problem. From lessons and data collection to activities on how to design and build products and technology, this is the real way forward as a solution.
RESEARCH, INNOVATION KNOWLEDGE
To constantly upgrade our products to get better at what we do and to generate the least amount of impact possible. Establishing a solid marine litter research program in collaboration with top scientific institutions and reputed experts around the world.
RESEARCH, INNOVATION & KNOWLEDGE
The team at Seabin Project are constantly learning as it is a new technology and a new sector in the marine and environmental industry. To stay at the forefront of developing new technologies, Seabin Project have multiple programs and initiatives underway.
