funds Seabin Project funds seabin project

Operations Manager Sascha Chapman and CEO & Co Founder Pete Ceglinski of the Seabin Project attended an intensive 3 week accelerator program with Booking Cares in Amsterdam for the month of June.

Seabin are just one of 10 startups selected to attend the program out of an initial 700 applicants in the quest to secure €500K out of the €2Million prize pool.

7 out of the 10 finalists were successfully funded with Seabin receiving the second highest funding of €350K plus a peoples choice award of a further €10K.

The funding comes at a critical time for Seabin, with the initial crowdfunding seed capitol coming to an end and then an emergency fund campaign to stay alive for the next two months before the anticipated commercial sales start this summer.

The €350K will be heavily invested into expanding the current 2 person full time team into a 6-7 person full time team, factory modifications and streamlining process management before the summer.

Seabin will be hiring very soon, stay connected by signing up for our newsletter and following us on facebook.
